Pathways Summer Excursion Program

​​The Pathways Program is an excursion program designed to expose inner-city children to different places, cities, activities and ways of life. The program provides children with one day trips to parks, museums, and other activities which are both educational and fun-filled.
Pathways Life Skills Initiative
​
​The Pathways Initiative is a series of Life Skills Workshops that covers standard life skills topics such as employment readiness and budgeting, but focuses more on character building and other values, such as personal responsibility, consequences, manners, morals, community service and other things that are just as important to youth and their development as their educational and employment tracts.
Community Partnerships

Children of the Light, Inc. has partnerships with community service organizations such as the United Black Fund, Family and Friends of Incarcerated People (FFOIP), and We Women International.

Children of the Light, Inc. is dedicated to improving the communities of the children that it serves. The organization remains involved in community improvement projects throughout the city.
Foster Care Support & Mentoring Program
​
​The Foster Care Support & Mentoring Program connects youth who are close to aging out of the foster care system with mentors who will guide them and support them in their endeavors as they prepare to age out of the foster care system.
